Where You Are Is Where I'd Rather Be

My name is Stephanie and my heart will forever be taken by Jacob Robert Ramirez <3 I live in NY and he lives in Texas. I'm in a long distance relationship and the distance between us will never break us apart <3 This is a blog that is dedicated to my boyfriend and our long distance relationship. At first, it was going to solely consist of me talking about and answering questions about my ldr, but if any of you ever need any advice then i'll do my best to help you out. You're not alone in this <3 Stay strong and remember that no matter what the distance is, you'll make it through <3

Anonymous asked: did you and your boyfriend know eachother before it? like did he move to texas while you guys were dating? how did you meet. im in the same situation, i have a thing with a guy in texas too, and i live in new york. first relationship and i dont know about it being long-distance, he really really likes me though and he is sooo sweet. what do you think?

No, we never met prior to dating :) haha wow, that’s awesome!

Well, it depends on your feelings for him. If you’re willing to go through with the distance, then go for it! But if you’re still unsure, don’t rush into it. Maybe talk to him and see how he’s feeling about it as well? Don’t be scared to take things slow until you’re ready to be in a ldr. It’s not going to be easy, especially at first, but if you’re both willing to put in the effort, it’ll be worth it :)

Anonymous asked: Do you ever feel like the relationship is too hard or that you are asking too much of your boyfriend? I am in a LD relationship with my gorgeous partner who is 14,000km across the ocean. He does not like to msg/email much but for this relationship, it is what I need - not to always be the one who sends the texts, waiting online to talk. He loves me but it hurts when I don't always feel my feelings are reciprocated. You are inspiring. Thank you.

I definitely feel like it gets hard especially when you haven’t seen your SO for a long time but usually, I tell my boyfriend whenever i’m feeling this way and he usually comforts me until I forget I was even upset over it :)

You should talk to him! I think that talking to each other as often as possible helps with the distance so it’s a little off putting to me that he doesn’t like to msg you as often :/ Just bring it up to him and let him know that it would make you feel better if he were the one who initiated the conversations first and that it genuinely make you happy when he does. If something makes you happy, i’m sure he’d be more than willing to oblige haha

Anonymous asked: Happy birthday Stephanie! :D

Thank you! :)

thehappymonologues asked: I'm in a long distance relationship as well and I wanted to share a short film my boyfriend and I made (we're both actors and filmmakers who are separated by 380miles) but Tumblr won't let me post the link here! If you're interested in seeing it, posting it, and reblogging it then please visit my tumblr! Making art with him has been very therapeutic for our LDR and now we want to share it with those who can relate and the rest of the world! Thanks so much for your time and consideration!

Anonymous asked: I remembered today was your birthday so I just wanted to send bday wishes from Florida! :D Your blog seriously gives me so much hope for my ldr! I hope you have a good day :)

Aww thank you soo much! :DD

Anonymous asked: How was you and your boyfriend's valentines day? :)

It was absolutely amazing! Jacob went above and beyond my expectations this year! Everyone knows I love valentines day and every year, ours just gets better! He’s so thoughtful, like one of the things he did was to make chocolate covered strawberries, bought a bottle of wine and got me goodies and even though we couldn’t physically be together, he still made me feel special! I’m so in love with him and i’m extremely lucky to have this man in my life <3
